My Newest Book: How to Argue with a Cat

Parents and teachers have been asking for a simpler introduction to rhetoric than Thank You for Arguing. More importantly, my wife has been bugging me to write a book with "Cat" in the title; because cats.
So I teamed up with the former art director of Ogilvy UK, Natalie Palmer-Sutton, and we made this book. We actually tried to make it useful, with serious tools gleaned from ancient rhetoric and modern neuroscience. But it also has cats.
Already a big seller in the UK, it releases in the US June 18. I'll be on tour throughout this country in June. Meanwhile, here's a cringeworthy moment on a London stage, when I told 1,000 Brits to lick each other on the backs of their necks. Persuasion at its best.
